Aralvaimozhi is known for its wind flow on the Western Ghats. Due to this there is a largest wind farm in Muppandal near Aralvaimozhi. Kanyakumari's border is also starts from there where a checkpost placed in Aralvaimozhi.
In Muppandal there is a famous Temple known as Muppandal Esaki Amman Temple. If people travel a long distance or crosses this Temple, the Travelers put Hundial money in this Muppandal Esaki Amman Temple. Aralvaimozhi also has many spinning mills.
